Membership

New Members

 

New members are welcomed into the church whenever they feel ready to join.  Every few

months we hold a brief meeting after worship where people who are interested in

membership can meet with the pastor and at least two church elders.  After introductions

the pastor explains how the only requirement for membership at PCMK is a desire to join

us on the journey as followers of Jesus Christ.  We believe new member training is an

on-the-job experience.  New members are encouraged to find a place to learn, grow and

share their gifts. The new member committee will follow up with new members to ensure

they are making friends and finding ways to feel at home in their new church family.
